Is there a silent victory you're proud of, one no one really sees?

" Every day is a victory—waking up is a gift. Enjoy every moment you’re given! "

Kristina

How did you reconnect with your body and learn to love it again, after all it’s been through?

"This has been the hardest part of it all—my body isn’t the same as it was when I was first diagnosed. Cancer took a lot from me, but it didn’t take my determination. Your body is with you for life—treat it right and just keep moving, even on the hard days."

Kristina

What message do you want to share, straight from your heart, with everyone reading this?

"You never know what someone is going through—so smile, give a compliment, hold the door open. A little kindness goes a long way. And remember, no matter what you’re facing, you can get through it."

Fighter's
Words

Since May, 24 Fighters have taken the brave first step on their path with the PATI program, a program dedicated to supporting them fully through this journey.

I love this program - it’s been wonderful to have daily tasks, and things to be mindful of without it being all about cancer. Quite the opposite, I’m treated like a strong, capable person and not a sick patient. As I said earlier, had it not been for my coach I do not think I would have had the courage to start exercising and to keep exercising during my treatment. The mental health coach has also guided me and helped me work through some issues, although not directly related to my cancer, they were something which was bothering me and I didn’t want to have that hanging over me as there is so many other things and emotions with this diagnosis. thank you for picking me to be part of this program!
